Wow, I don't think you'll find a  more honest person/business. Took my car in for an oil change/5k  internal service. Fred is very nice and patiently explained everything.  He came back after inspecting my car, showed me the oil dipstick with clean oil and told me it would be waste of money to replace the oil. He  also checked other things and and said everything was fine and sent me home. He did not charge me a penny. I wanted to pay him for at least for his time but he would not charge me. To the person who gave him a negative  review because he had to wait because he got to the shop before they  opened and for Fred taking too long to get back to him with a quote, I  also had to wait to get pricing on an item. You have to remember that he  runs the shop and works on vehicles. Getting pricing from a 3rd party  (car manufacturer in my case) not only takes time but is also time  consuming. I highly recommend this shop and will be taking my car to him from now on.

II noticed my temperature gage was running hot on a Thursday afternoon a few weeks ago.  Tried to find a leak Thursday night , with no luck.  Friday morning I called my mechanic to see if he could check it out but he was too busy.  I found Asian Auto Repair on Yelp and they had very good reviews.  I called and talked to Fred and he said bring the car in.  I did and found Fred very helpful.  He found the radiator leak and went ahead and replaced my radiator the same day for a reasonable price!  I am very happy to have found a new mechanic that I trust.  I will be going back to Asian Auto for my future car maintenance needs.

I have been taking my cars to AARC for years and trust Fred and Chuy.  I appreciate they only recommend repairs you really need and their workmanship is solid; they take the time to do it right.  What is also important to me is that they are good men with solid character.  As many have already stared, they are honest.

I would recommend this place for everyone if you own a Japanese car. Chuy is very helpful and is an expert. They won't replace everything for you that charge lots of money like many dealership. Instead, they only replace according to the manufacturing recommendation list when you reach certain mileage, and cheap enough compared to other places.

We have been taking our Infiniti to Asian Auto for about six years and have been so appreciative of the excellent service we have received at a reasonable cost.  Previously, we had been taking our car to the dealership and the cost of doing so had become prohibitive -- so much so that we were considering selling the car.  When we found Fred, it was a godsend!  Fred diagnoses problems quickly and expertly, and the work is done efficiently and competently at a price that is far more affordable than the dealership.  I have complete confidence in Fred's judgement. As a bonus, he is courteous, helpful, and very fair.  I can't say enough good things about Fred and Asian Auto and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable car repairs.  This is the first review that I have written on Yelp and would not have bothered to do so if the service was not truly outstanding.

I have been taking my asian cars (Lexus ES, Infinity I35 and Honda Odyssey) to Fred and Chuy for over 5 years. Fred is a rare trustworthy mechanic and helps me skip any unnecessary repairs on my cars. Sometimes I took my car to dealers with coupon and they would give me a list of things to repair, such as oil leaks, etc and Fred would analyze it and that found that was the leak from previous time from a hose that was recently replaced and there was no need to repair any leaks. This is one of the many examples of dealer who does visual inspection on your car and identify quickly 10 things you need to replace that costs thousands. Fred and Chuy took pride in their work as you can see from their spotless clean work area on the rear. His price is less than dealers for sure and most importantly, reliable work.

I have been taking my cars to Fred for over 20 years. Why? Because when we first moved here and were barely scraping by, I took our Nissan to one of those chains that specializes in brakes and they told me we needed to replace all of our brakes! I wanted a second opinion and found Fred in the Yellow Pages. He took the time to show me exactly what my brake pads looked like and was honest about how much life we had left in them. He told us what we needed to get done then and what could wait a few months or a year. We've been going to Fred ever since, because we trust him. Fred and Chuy always have time for you. They are always friendly, honest and guarantee their work. Not sure what I will do when they retire!

Him and his crew did an amazing job on a few random things to help personalize and make my car look new again. Totally loving the new headlights with LED bulbs. They even waited for me to hunt down the exact parts for my car after the original parts didn't fit. Ensuring my car looks exactly the way I want it to, and I couldn't be happier.
